Gecko Pub Crawl, Pirate Car Wash and More Weekend Events in Gulfport
Looking for something fun to do in Gulfport and around the Tampa Bay area this weekend? Look no further.
“Gecko Season” begins with the pub crawl Saturday from 5 until 9 p.m. The pub crawl includes stop at six Gulfport locations including Cousin’s Pizza, J’s, Neptune Grill, O’Maddy’s, Salty’s and T & Me Tea Co. An after party will be held at J’s from 9 until 10 p.m. and will feature drawings for prizes.
Cost is $20 per person and includes a beverage at six Gulfport businesses. For more information check the event listing.

Other Gecko fun includes the Fifth Annual Gecko Ball Aug. 24 and the 13th Annual Gecko Fest Aug. 31.

The Gulfport Pirates will have its first fundraiser of the 2013 football season Sunday. Stop by Advance Auto (49th St. South & 22nd Ave. South)and get your car cleaned, make a donation, or purchase ribs from the Pirate Grill.
Cars- $5 outside only, $10 inside & outside
Trucks/SUV's- $10 outside only, $15 inside and outside
Grill- Pirate ribs $7 basket
$22 for the slab
