5th generation St. Pete, but grew up in Costa Rica in the early to mid 70s. Traveled the country in the last great medicine show as a teenager, then college in Texas where I signed up for The Army as a medic. After The Army, I worked delivering fuel in trucks for a while, then was hired in 1997 as the first artist for Global Candle Gallery. I ended up with my own store making candles and was VP Operations for the growing company. I worked for Global for 16 years, writing three patents on the candle making techniques. In 2010, I founded Urban Micro Farms, specializing in building raised bed gardens for homes, schools, and businesses. We help people to learn how to grow food organically, and gmo free. In 2010 I starter the Vote on the Pier.com petition drive with Tom Lambdon. I helped Tom collect 24,000 petitions in that campaign. When that petition drive came to an end, I then volunteered for Stop The Lens in successfully collecting over 20,000 petitions in that effort. I love to collect artifacts, garden, and shoot video of local rallies, protests, and issues. When I have time, I illustrate with pen and ink for my series of work called The Void of ER.
