The driver was sentenced Tuesday for crashing into a PSTA bus while fleeing from police with his then 2-year-old son in a stolen car. Gulfport residents want to see more restrooms, a larger ship store and plans for a multi-use building at the Gulfport Municipal Marina. The bill's sponsor put the statewide domestic partnership registry plan on hold after lawmakers expressed concerns about its constitutionality. Gulfport approved its own registry last May.
