Special thanks to Jeri Reed and Matt Moss for sharing your photos of the benefit volleyball match at Gulfport Beach on Sunday!

Huge thank you goes out to Jeri Reed for taking some awesome action shots of the volleyball match between the veterans with VETSports and the officers and firefighters with the Gulfport Police Department and Fire Departments. Matt Moss also uploaded a great shot of two veterans with VETSports getting the ball back over. Thanks so much to both of you! The Inaugural Beach Volleyball Benefit helped raise money for wounded veterans and the Tampa family of fallen soldier Major David Taylor. Check out our photos from the match on this post! Heroes Weekend There are several events kicking off on Thursday, Nov. 8 as part of the second annual Heroes Weekend in Gulfport. The weekend will feature a casino night, veteran's parade, dance and concert at the Gulfport Casino Ballroom and a beach volleyball benefit. Inaugural Beach Volleyball Benefit Sunday, November 11 at 1:00 p.m., VETSports vs. Gulfport Police and Gulfport Fire Inaugural Beach Volleyball Benefit will be held with proceeds from this event donated to the Tampa family of fallen soldier Major David Taylor and Wounded Veterans of VETSports.
