The teen pop star turned heads and created traffic jams when she was in town to make 'Spring Breakers.' She even spent a day in Gulfport. As suddenly as she arrived, the young celebrity and her film crew split.
Selena Gomez is gone from southwest Florida, Gulfport and the beaches. But she made quite an impact while she and the crew from "Spring Breakers" shot the crime caper, including some scenes at the Gulfport police station. Selena and her young co-stars practically lived in their bikinis while here. Could that have contributed to the attention? The celebs rode pastel-colored scooters, displayed buff bods and generally created a stir, wherever they went, from Gulfport to the Gulf Coast beaches. Here are some photo memories. While you're gazing at the photos, why not take our poll. Some locals complained that the pop star was too much diva and too little fun. What do you think?

The Gulfport Police Department is the latest backdrop for the movie "Spring Breakers."
Rumor has it, James Franco is rocking dreadlocks in the film "Spring Breakers." Franco and Selena Gomez were spotted Tuesday morning in Gulfport at the Gulfport Police Department. The sealed off parking lot seemed to be the perfect fit for a police station backdrop. This is the second time the crew has filmed at the Gulfport Police Department. Last Tuesday, Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Benson shot scenes inside the department.
