Welcome to this week's Patch Minute! Treasure Island The Sanding Ovations Masters Cup is going on now through Sunday, Nov. 18. Stop by the Bilmar Beach Resort on Treasure Island and watch the best in the business create art out of sand. The invitational competition brings internationally renowned sand artists to our beautiful beaches! At the end of the event, the sculptures will be judged and the top four sculptures and a “people’s choice” sculpture will be awarded over $12,000. The event will be going on all weekend and all day beach parking will be available for $10. Officials say the best time to stop by is Saturday and Sunday.
