While there's plenty to do in Gulfport on New Year's Eve, if you're hoping to catch a glimpse of reds, blues, purples and more sparkling above the bay head to downtown St. Pete. First Night St. Petersburg and Creative Pyrotechnics will light up the sky from the Vinoy Basin in downtown St. Pete. They're putting on two shows – a traditional First Firework display at 9 p.m. and a final hurrah when the clock strikes 12.
