Mural Project Open to Teens
Organizers are inviting high school students to submit entries for a community mural project in Gulfport.
Local artists are submitting proposals for the three-part community mural project in Gulfport Square off 49th St. S. and Gulfport Blvd. S. Michelle Kotewa with Liberty Tax Service announced the project in November and says they are now opening the project to college students in Gulfport and teens at Boca Ciega High School. Kotewa says they want young artists to know they can enter the project as well. The South 49th St. Business Association, Gulfport Area Chamber of Commerce, Gulfport Merchants Association, Liberty Tax, Piranha Graphix Signs and J DeFoe Suncoast Properties are co-sponsoring this project.
