Monday, Jan. 21 Caelon Montiel Hicks, 27, of St. Petersburg, was arrested by Gulfport Police on the charges of driving while license suspended or revoked-habitual, second offense, a felony. Hicks posted $5,000 bail. Tuesday, Jan. 22 Christopher Ladd, 66, of Gulfport, was arrested by Gulfport Police on the charge of domestic battery, a misdemeanor. Ladd posted $1,000 bail. Wednesday, Jan 23 Donald William Dennis, 43, of Redington Beach, was arrested by Gulfport Police on the charge of uttering forged bills, checks, drafts, notes, a felony. Dennis posted $2,000 bail. There is a whole set of "minimum housing standards" in the city ordinances, things like there must be heat in 2/3 of the rooms of a house, there must be a window to the outside in all rooms, there are electrical & appliance paragraphs, etc. But I have no idea what would cause someone to be arrested unless maybe they were living in a house that has been condemned.
