Special thanks to Phil Bishop for snapping some very artistic photos of the human chain in Gulfport this weekend.
Were you at the human chain on Sunday? Phil Bishop was and he took a few photos of the historic event at Gulfport Beach. Council member Dan Liedtke helped organize the helicopter photos with Boatpix.com to be used for future marketing campaigns for the City of Gulfport. Huge thanks to Phil for sharing photos with Gulfport Patch! Did you take photos? Upload them here to share with your neighbors!
Become a part of history and join hands to spell Gulfport, FL at Gulfport Beach. At least 250 people are needed for the helicopter aerial photos. Come out and support the city on Sunday!
There's a lot going on this weekend as part of the second annual "Heroes Weekend" events in Gulfport! But make sure to mark your calendar for the helicopter aerial photos at Gulfport Beach on Sunday around 3:15 p.m. Hundreds are needed for the photo! City Council Member Dan Liedtke helped organize the helicopter photos with Boatpix.com and says they'll need 25 to 35 people per letter. Organizers are hoping to spell out GULFPORT, FL with a human chain . . . that means between 250 and 350 people are needed! The aerial photos will be taken immediately following the VETSports vs Gulfport Police & Fire Inaugural Beach Volleyball Benefit on Sunday. The match begins at 1 p.m. The flyover by BoatPix.com is expected between 3:15 and 3:30 p.m. …
