Saturday night's new year celebration was complete with a live band from Orlando and dance demos for party goers.
Doors to the casino opened around 7:30, but it wasn't until the band started jamming at 8 that the crowd really started to pour in. Dancing and laughter were contagious as locals said "goodbye" to 2011. People dressed in formal attire. From black ties to red-carpet-worthy gowns, guests let their fashion sense come out to play on Saturday night. Beverages included a full cash bar plus complimentary finger foods like sandwiches and cookies. The Caliente band put on a high energy show that kept the place popping through midnight and well into 2012. Cheers to 2012, Gulfport residents!
