The Pinellas County Animal Shelter has almost 30 dogs who could use a home with you.

These are all the dogs that are currently up for adoption at Pinellas County Animal Services. They all need to find that special home with someone who will love them, just as they love people. If you see a dog you want to adopt, make sure to head down to Animal Services. If that dog has already been adopted, make sure you take a good look at all the dogs available. You never know when you might be surprised. How to Adopt The dogs are ready to go to their forever home. There's no real identifiable reason that Sadie doesn't have a home other than her breed. Sadie is a beautiful, well-behaved and loving pitbull mix who's been at the Pinellas County Animal Shelter since November of last year. Sadie is a cuddlebug and loves to hang out by your side. Even the words 'Pit Bull' scare me, esp. when you can tell the Pit mix in their head size or face.........but l did have a Lab/pit mix and knew of beagle/pit mix dogs that were docile, loving and kind from day of birth to death. Neither of those two dogs loved an iota like a pit.....so l did trust them and was never leary.   more ›

if the dog was lost then it is still owned by the owner that it got away from. now if the dog was brought back and put into the dog slot then what does the dog do that people are returning it? but if they have not yet come back to u to find the dog give it a chance to find it. this happens way to often. dogs are adopted before their parents can even find them.   more ›
