What does it mean to have an AUTHENTIC presence online?

Just as the world we live in is calling for more authentic and credible leaders, Google is doing the same when it determines how relevant and credible your website is.

Google has been changing the way it ranks websites. No more sneaky back linking or cramming your site with irrelevant or repetitious keywords in the hope of making it to the top.

Just as the world we live in is calling for more authentic and credible leaders, Google is doing the same when it determines how relevant and credible your website is. The premise now is to create content that users want to use and share. The best way to do this is to set the bar at authenticity and honesty.

As a business coach I am always encouraging my clients to articulate their personal and professional purpose for being in business.

Why do they do what they do?

Where do they want to be in 5 years, 10 years?

 As a web developer I use this purpose to help them create relevant, authentic and unique content that informs their users and keeps Google happy.
As a web designer I keep the focus of what the end users experience must be when they visit the site and ultimately I keep in mind the goals of the business owner.
