Gulfport Weekender: Newton's Haunts, Gulfport Birthday Bash, Beach Cleanup

Haunted Houses in Gulfport: Looking for a scare? Come out to the 5600 block of Newton Ave S. in Gulfport starting on Friday, Oct. 11! Newton's Haunts features two local haunted houses in one location. The Midway Massacre is a carnival themed haunted houses that is recommended for teens and up! Beach Cleanup: The Gulfport Neighbors are hosting a community cleanup at Gulfport Beach on Saturday, Oct. 12 from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. Please meet at shelter 4. Organizers are asking volunteers to wear good foot protection and support and provide your own water, trash bag, plastic gloves and hand sanitizer. A rake and grabber may be useful too. Gulfport Birthday Bash: The annual Gulfport Birthday Bash kicks off at the Gulfport Historical Museum from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Saturday. The party includes trolley tours, mullet toss, pet parade and of course - Birthday Cake!

Gulfport Under the Stars: The evening event on Saturday kicks off from 6 - 10 p.m. The night event features a catered dinner at the Gulfport Historical Museum.
