This Week in Gulfport: iPad Workshop, Clothing Swap, Glitter Queens
It's Monday, Sept. 9! Here's what you need to know this week in Gulfport!
Free Clothing Swap: Come out during the Fresh Market on Tuesday from 9 - 12 p.m. and swap your garments! Bring up to 5 garments to exchange for free with other swap participants or purchase vouchers for $3 each to select clothing. All proceeds and remaining clothing donations will be donated to CASA (Community Action Stops Abuse). The clothing swap is held at Beach Boulevard and 30th Ave S.
Tuesday Fresh Market: Stock up your fridge and freezer by stopping by the Fresh Market between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. every Tuesday. Remember to "like" the Tuesday Fresh Market on Facebook before heading out!
iPad Workshop: Pre-register today for the iPad Workshop at the Gulfport Senior Center on Thursday, Sept. 12. at 4 p.m. Jaclyn Moore, Gold Award Girl Scout Project Leader, will conduct the workshop. There is limited space available and there is no fee to attend the workshop. Please bring your very own Apple iPad and Apple passwords! You must pre-register with Rachel (727) 893-1231 in order to reserve your spot or for more information. No walk ins.
Salsa Social Dance: For just $7 per person, you can learn how to salsa at the Gulfport Casino Ballroom on Thursday, Sept. 12 from 6:30 - 10 p.m.
St. Pete Glitter Queens Fundraiser: The Glitter Queens Fundraiser is Saturday, Sept. 14 from 7 - 11 p.m. at the Gulfport Casino Ballroom. Tickets to the Second Annual Royal Ball are $50.
