Patch has partnered with Pinellas County Animal Services to bring Adoptables at Risk, a weekly feature that profiles dogs and cats that have stayed too long at the county shelter and are in immediate need of a forever home.
The shelter only has limited space and needs to get pets adopted in a timely manner to free up kennels.
Paisley has been at Pinellas County Animal Shelter since March 2nd, which is too long to be without a home, said Pinellas County Animal Services volunteer Eve Waart.
Paisley is a shelter wallflower, overlooked for other dogs. Volunteers say she just needs the chance and is the Cinderella pet for the right owner.
She will be perfect pet for an active family. This big girl is well-behaved but energetic and fun-loving. She needs someone or an entire family who will take the time to play, love and be active with her.
How to Adopt
Paisley is ready to go to her forever home. Adoption costs $35 and includes the first set of shots, spaying or neutering, a collar and leash, a bag of food and a toy for the dog. We've attached an adoption form (PDF) to make it easy.
If you bring your adoption paperwork over to the Petsmart at the Largo Mall (10500 Ulmerton Rd, Largo) after adopting, you get other items and coupons to help with pet care.
Adopt Paisley, and we will feature your photo with your new pet on Patch, too!
