Kid's Fun Day at Yummy's Coming Soon

Kid's "Fun Day" at Yummy's in Gulfport!

Put it on your calendar, people! It's coming.

On Sunday, Sept. 30th, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., our very own Yummy's will be hosting a "Kid's Fun Day!"

There will be carnival style games with Prizes!
There will be lots of Raffle Drawings for some Great Kid Items!
There will be ice cream and hotdogs!

Come one, come ALL and help our Gulfport Library and our Gulfport Elementary School get 600 new emergent reader books for our kids!

We can't do it without you!
Our kids need these books and this is an opportunity for you and your families to help in the funnest way!

The proceeds from Yummy's Fun Day, will go toward the purchase of the two emergent reader libraries of approximately 300 books each and toward the First Annual Gulfport, District-wide, Youth Book Writing Contest, "In Our Own Words", for grades 1-12. Winners will be published!

The contest will open on October 6th at the Gulfport Public Library from 1-3pm. Any youth wishing to participate needs to come in and enjoy some refreshments while we go over the submission guidelines. They'll be plenty of question-answer time. We encourage all our kids to participate and all our village members, parents, and educators of Pinellas County to do the same and to mentor participants throughout the contest.

For those that can't make the "Fun Day" at Yummy's but still wish to contribute, We have opened an "In Our Own Words" Event Account at our local Regions Bank Branch at the corner of 22nd Ave South and 58th St. South. Stop in anytime and donate directly into the fund. As always, we are grateful for all your support and contributions. What a wonderful gift you will be giving all of our children. Thank you.

Hope to see you all there!
