How Dare You! We Are All Supposed to be Equal!

How dare someone presume that they can tell any other human being who they can and cannot marry.

I don't believe in monogamy or marriage. I don't believe in religion or any of your Gods that continue to govern me and my liberties. I don't believe in love. What I believe without fail is that we are all supposed to be equal in the eyes of the law, that what rights are afforded one should be afforded to all. That is not the case in this great country of ours.

It is the most basic of freedoms, to choose who we will marry, who we will build a life with, and who we will raise a family with. Yet, I do not have that right in the eyes of a godless, corrupt, Christian-banner-flying, cheating, lying, theiving, filthy-rich, bloody-handed government.

Be gone all you haters, bigots, racists, homophobes, crooks, and idiots, get out of our governments. Go sell your lies at the temple and get out of our lives. You think you have the power to stop what's right and fair but it's coming like a wave, welling up from the new generations and it WILL, one day, overwhelm the likes of you. 

Now, a note on Domestic Partnerships:
By their very existence, domestic partnerships confirm for the fear-driven, fear-governing, homophobes that I am properly in my place and under control, that I am less than, that I do not hold the equal status or freedoms as my neighbors.

So, while I vote yes on behalf of my fellows for your less-than-generous offer of a domestic partnership, I say to you,

"I deserve nothing less than 100% equality and eventually you will give it to me or you will step aside so a human being might serve in your place."
