Who let the dogs out?
Today is Bark in the Park, a chance to not only take the kids to the ball game but to bring along your family family dog for some canine-friendly events and promotions.
The Tampa Bay Rays are hosting the first ever Bark in the Park event at Tropicana Field during the Rays-Orioles game at 1:40 p.m.
There is a special seating area just for dogs. The Party Deck will turn into the “Dog Zone,” with product samples, SPCA of Tampa Bay pet adoption booth and activities for both dogs and their owners.
- The first 10,000 kids 14 and under on Aug. 5 will receive a DJ Kitty bobblehead.
- The Wiggles are scheduled to perform as part of the Rays 2012 Summer Concert Series at the conclusion of the game as part of Family Fun Day.
