Video: Basketball Star Surprises All Children's

Harlem Globetrotter Special K performed tricks, signed autographs and snapped photos with a group of very special children All Children's Hospital in St. Pete.

Harlem Globetrotter Special K entered every hospital room at All Children's Hospital spinning his pink basketball on his finger.

"Wow," 14-year-old Sami Steers said.

Special K performed tricks for Steers and other children Wednesday. He made spinning a basketball on his finger and head look easy and that made children smile.

"When they see one of us, they light up, when they see us spinning the ball on the finger they just enjoy it, if I can put the ball on their finger, they love it," Special K said.

The 6'5" Harlem Globetrotter also posed for family photos and signed autographs during his visit. He even performed tricks in the hallway, outside the doors of children who could not have visitors in their rooms.

"Sometimes I hear from the parents that they hadn't seen their kid smile since they had been in the hospital, when we get there and we leave they're smiling and that's very special," Special K said.
