VIDEO: 'We Heard the Truth,' Rep. Young Says

Rep. C. W. Bill Young introduced Gov. Mitt Romney in St. Petersburg. Young praised Romney for his performance in the first presidential debate.

Rep. C. W. Bill Young rallied thousands at a Victory Rally for Gov. Mitt Romney in downtown St. Petersburg Friday night.

Young told supporters that the nation finally saw what they see in Romney. Stating that unlike President Barack Obama, Romney doesn't need a teleprompter to explain his policy, plans and issues.

Watch our video for an excerpt of Young's introduction.

Young is running for a 22nd term in Congress. First-time candidate and attorney Jessica Ehrlich is challenging Young for US House District 13.

Perhaps Gov. Romney has inspired Rep Young to show up for a debate/question session with his Democratic opponent, Ms. Ehrlich. Voters do deserve a chance to see and hear more than just canned ads from candidates before the election. Shame on Rep Young for avoiding this responsibility. Perhaps, Rep Young can explain to the voters of his district his support of the changes he plans for Medicare and Medicaid since he approves of the Ryan budget. Perhaps he will tell us just how he plans to represent this district by voting in lock-step with an extreme GOP agenda. Perhaps he will tell us where his independent voice was lost. Perhaps he will tell us when he will retire.
