Hi, Monica. I was there, too, and I couldn't agree more. The positive energy was contagious and electrifying, and the President appeared upbeat and confident as he hit the main points of his proposed agenda and eviscerated that of his tax-evading, flip-flopping, job-outsourcing, internationally-embarrassing, draft-dodging (yet war-mongering) opponent, Autmoatomney, and his pathologically lying boy sidekick, Marathon Man.
I am proud to support our president, and we both know what is at stake in this election. That's why I'm doing my part to assure that Mr. Obama remains in the White House for FOUR MORE YEARS. Sure, the deranged, willfully ignorant, low-information GOP voters will come slithering out of the woodwork, as always, to parrot the usual vitriolic, low-brow canards they mindlessly absorb from the undereducated screamers they listen to on their favorite commercialized neofascist radio and tv shows, but none of it will ever stick. That's the real power of education - something the deranged paranoiacs of the debased far right base will never have because they were too lazy to better themselves.

Vicki, I assume you also used Fahrenheit 9/11 as a reference on Bush in 2004? Because if you are going to believe one person who is going to not let facts in in the way of a good story, you will believe another. Even Conservative news sources are showing the factual inaccuracies in the 2016 movie. How can a man claim to be an expert on a subject that he hasn't even been in the same room as. Also how can you trust a source on American politics who published an article in 2001 that he sided with the Terrorists. That's a true American Source and Scholar.
JDMcC September 11, 2012 at 03:44 pm
Ever notice how thoughtful, fact-based comments like yours elicit nothing more than simplistic, completely unsubstantiated retorts from certain underachieving, unrefined individuals who post on here? The propaganda-addled paranoiacs can't even address a single point you raised, let alone be bothered to offer a rebuttal supported by observable evidence culled from reality.Rrest assured, the intellectually lazy loons will keep on launching their parroted replies in response to anyone who might demonstrate a propensity for rational discourse, but their mindless screeching remains what it is - sound and fury, signifying nothing (with apologies to Will S. for dragging him into this low-brow realm).

Rick,
This seems more like a rant and less like an agrument. But in regards to the one real agrument you made, "And why should the Government teach your child about sex? I guess it's the mentality of "Let Uncle Sam do it" once again,I would like to see some of you fiberals take responsibility just one time, just once. " I believe the government pushed teaching absentance under Bush, so "fiberals" as you like to label them aren't the only ones on the government teaching people how to live their lives. As far as Socialism, the Democratics agenda is about as much about true Socialism as Republican agenda is about corporate dictatorship. Those are both labels set forth by the the two parties propaganda media machines. Both lie, both mislead.

Sadly, the only Americans who will vote for Obama are "under the influence" of the media. Not only were the facts about Obama suppressed, and still are, but the lies were abundant. DO SOME RESEARCH !! don't believe the American media ~ they are hiding the truth from you. Stop sitting in front of the TV and buying into all the "glorified and Hollywood-ised" crap that is sent over our pathetic airwaves... like i said: INFORM YOURSELVES and then make the right decision. Obama is an extremist and that is not debatable.. IT IS A FACT !! we need to re-gain control of our country and résumé glorifying God and our original attitudes and beliefs ! Please open your eyes and see Obama for who he really is...
Jan B. September 11, 2012 at 09:59 pm
oh and please ~ let's not crucify each other for our opinions.. we're all entitled to them.
monica September 11, 2012 at 10:31 pm
Not one of you Republicans have had a decent thing to say. All of you think you own the Bible....where is the respect the Bible supposedly teaches you?. Talk about hypocrocy! Today you could of at least done what your anointed Mormon King did and kept off the airwaves! You should inform your selves on the Mormon Religion, and perhaps you will understand your candidate a little better and maybe somewhere in your tiny brains it will strike that cord of fear. I am scared....because the Mormons are determined to have Romney become President of the United States of America and implement all of their righteous views on the rest of us..........NOT!
Sahara September 11, 2012 at 11:05 pm
Which media...I watch Fox...which facts?.... which lies ...And why can't I debate Obama's so called extremism?.... Which god?....The State approved god. I thought you didn't like big government...putting a god in charge of it really makes it big.

Socialism explained by liberals who are attached to the hip of the Party of Food Stamps! Remember, these are Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and supporters.

We mock because you don't accept facts. And because we are basically healthy, optimistic people who want to counteract serious hate with clever comments to restore civility. Thanks for noticing.
Lynda September 12, 2012 at 01:09 am
Nasty personal comment that is out of line, rick blank. For someone who is sensitive about his "name", you are remarkably crude to others.
Sahara September 12, 2012 at 01:37 am
Ricky boy...you can't have it both ways. You can't call The president "Odumbo" and then get upset when someone points out your name is indicative of your mental state. But that is the "Wrong's" way. Knife someone in the back then cry file that they stole your knife.

Jan,
Look at our famous forfathers and you will see John Adams is the closest to what you are terming as a Christian now. As far as media in the America, is controlled by both parties. As far as God being apart of our Nation's Founding the only place they are referenced in our Constitution is in the statement "in the year of our Lord" which was the proper way to state the year during that time period. Our Currency didn't mention him until the Union added it in 1863 to help moral against the Confederate Army. And the phrase "One Nation Under God" wasn't added to the pledge until 1954 to help our nations moral against communism. It is time to truly do your research Jan B. Actually look at sources that are not donaters to a political party. That aren't trying to sell and agenda. Because all the "facts" you posted in your post, are opinions that are being sold by propaganda machines. Please don't say "IT IS A FACT !!" unless it actual is a fact. I find most people only scream about saying facts are always selling opinions. The Original attitudes and beliefs of this country were on religious freedom, and if you read the documents that founded this country. And the historical accurate accounts of the men who developed this country (not the battle communism fake historical garbage from the mid 1900's). This country was based to combat the government and religion being forced on it's people.

Technically jobs were created NCI ESS, just not enough to keep up with the increasing growth of the population of the labor force. So him campaign on creating jobs, is accurate. Romney campaign on it's not enough jobs is also accurate.
Sahara September 13, 2012 at 01:29 am
This man is a foreign affairs catastrophe!
"Romney blew it and revealed how seriously maladroit he is when it comes to foreign affairs and national security," in regard to recent embassy killings.
Goin' Commando September 13, 2012 at 02:26 am
Mr Blank, now you are demonstrating either how ignorant, or how maliciously devious, you really are.
As someone who watched the sale of my house collapse two days after the S&P downgrade, losing $45,000 for what I had to finally reduce it by to get a new buyer, I watched every piddling and insane Congressional dysfunction on the debt ceiling increase debate that led up to that downgrade. Obama had a deal with Speaker of the House John Boehner, but the idiots in the Tea Party component of Boehner's GOP caucus killed that deal, and the US government went right up to the cliff; S & P simply watched in shock and disbelief as Congress played games with our future. Only someone who had not watched what went on, or someone who is trying to lie for the advantage of Romney, would make the statement that you made. It was the House of Representatives, and not Obama or the Senate.
Goin' Commando September 13, 2012 at 02:34 am
Yes, let's start with former GOP Senator Larry Craig (remember the men's room at the airport?), and go from there to former GOP Representative Mark Foley (remember his inappropriate actions with young male Congressional pages?), then go to former GOP Governor Mark Sanford (remember him cheating on his wife with a mistress in Argentina?).
And, yes, you can pick the names of Democrats who have done similar things. Of course we could also identify a number of ministers and priests who have tawdry records as well. The point is that, as the old adage states, people who live in glass houses shouldn 't throw stones, and that includes Obama-haters like you, Mr Blank.
Goin' Commando September 13, 2012 at 02:37 am
You're entitled to your own opinions, just not your own "facts."
We can disagree about conclusions, as long as we don't create an alternative universe as our basis.

4 killed on Obamas watch, its him that is a foreign affairs catastrophe.
American Patriot September 13, 2012 at 05:51 am
Yeah, right, just like Reagan was responsible for the 241 American Marines and Sailors killed in the Beirut terrorist bombing in 1983.
That's total bull crap, NSI, and you know it. Reagan wasn't responsible for those 241 Americans killed in that terrorist attack, and Obama is not responsible for Tuesday's terrorist attack in Benghazi. Besides, Ambassador Stevens was loved by the Libyan people, as was made clear on several news programs today, but you probably wouldn't know that because you don't listen to objective news programs. You should be praising the martyred Ambassador, who took more risks with the Libyan people than many foreign service envoys would take. And you should be expressing sympathy for his family, and the families of the other brave Americans whose lives were lost in that terrorist attack. Blame the terrorists, and don't blame the American Government. But, that wouldn't serve your political cause, would it?
American Patriot September 13, 2012 at 05:53 am
[conti'd}
Even Sen. McCain's former Chief of Staff, and senior advisor in his 2008 campaign, told Romney that his comments were way out of line: "But this is hardly the issue or the moment to demonstrate a greater resolve to take the fight to the president. Four good Americans, brave and true, have just died in service to their country. They were killed because some of the Libyans who fought a civil war for freedom, or cynically pretended freedom was their cause, do not really approve or understand freedom’s values. Nothing said or done by the president or anyone in the U.S. government is responsible for the violence that led to their deaths...But, please, let’s refrain from making this terrible loss an occasion for more unfair and hyperbolic sound bites in a campaign that is already depressingly oversupplied with them on both sides. For now, let us just bury and mourn our dead, and strengthen our resolve to defend the American values and interests they died for, with the courage and patriotism they exemplified." That is a man who loves his country, more than his political party, and you need to take a lesson from him, NSI.

they how come 23 million people are out of work - the 8.1% unemployment is misleading because it does not take into account those who are no longer even looking for work (unsing the same size work force as when Obama took office unemployment would currently be over 11%; there are 50% more people on food stamps; the national debt is about 60% higher (more in 4 years than GW Bush in 8); no budget passed by the senate Since Obama took office - including the two years democrats controlled the house & the senate as well as the oval office; a former democratic federal financial specialist - whose name i forget - said letting all the tax breaks expire will cost 1.2 million jobs / letting the tax breaks for the rich expire will cost 800, 000 jobs / continuing them all would cost ZERO jobs; of course that does not take into account the 21 (+/-) new taxes related to Obama"Care"

Funny, Obama supporters think the same of your group, hate-hate-hate. With the deep sh** mess that Bush got us into, do you honestly think that things can turn around in four years? Look at the trends objectively, maybe even optmistically and then ask yourself if you really do believe FOX and Rush?

You Wrote: ''O'Madd'y's is not special''?? That is the only thing you wrote that was wrong. WhereRead More else can you go in Gultport and sit in a bar seat so early in the morning and have a beer that is as cold as be and have the glorious view of our bay so close to your face? Huh? No place, that's where. It is "very" special, for that reason and a few more. You should put aside this one bad day you had there instead of letting it ruin all the other good days you have had there. Besides, your argument was with a woman...what is new about losing an argument with a woman? If you are a lawyer, as you claimed, then the poor way you explained what happened probably means you lose lots of arguments...and why you only make enough money to drink at O'Maddy's...lol... instead of the swankier bars on Beach Drive in Downtown St Pete. By the way...that $45,000 you spent? In case you have not cashed in on it...is worth about 450 free beers in O'Maddie's beer club. And you say they place is not special? Most of us have had a day just like the one you did. We know you miss the place. Go back in, forget about what happened, sit down, shut up, order a beer, and enjoy yourself some more there.
