Obamacare Enrollees Are 'Urban Legend,' Paper Says

Continuing problems with the HealthCare.gov website have made signing up for coverage difficult for some. Have you managed to get through?

The Miami Herald has been on the hunt for Floridians who have managed to successfully enroll for insurance coverage under Obamacare.

So far, it hasn’t had much luck.

The newspaper says those who have successfully navigated the government’s online insurance application process “have reached a status akin to urban legend: Everyone has heard of them, but very few people have actually met one.”

While the new health insurance exchange website HealthCare.gov went live about two weeks ago, it’s been plagued with problems ever since. The government says those technical problems are due to an overload of traffic on the site.
