Hundreds Needed for Gulfport Human Chain Sunday

Become a part of history and join hands to spell Gulfport, FL at Gulfport Beach. At least 250 people are needed for the helicopter aerial photos. Come out and support the city on Sunday!

There's a lot going on this weekend as part of the second annual "Heroes Weekend" events in Gulfport! But make sure to mark your calendar for the helicopter aerial photos at Gulfport Beach on Sunday around 3:15 p.m.

Hundreds are needed for the photo! City Council Member Dan Liedtke helped organize the helicopter photos with Boatpix.com and says they'll need 25 to 35 people per letter. Organizers are hoping to spell out GULFPORT, FL with a human chain . . . that means between 250 and 350 people are needed!

The aerial photos will be taken immediately following the VETSports vs Gulfport Police & Fire Inaugural Beach Volleyball Benefit on Sunday. The match begins at 1 p.m. The flyover by BoatPix.com is expected between 3:15 and 3:30 p.m.
