Check Out Communications Center for Pinellas County
These snazzy renderings show what the interior will look like for the Pinellas County communications center. High tech is an understatement.
These renderings almost look like the real thing. They are drawings of the new communications center that will be part of the new Public Safety Campus for Pinellas County! The center will include the Sheriff's Office Dispatch and countywide 9-1-1 emergency comunications, according to a Facebook Page post by the Sheriff's Office.
In 2011, the Gulfport City Council voted to relocate Gulfport police dispatch services to the Pinellas County Sheriff Office. The transition was smooth, though there initially was rancor over whether the city should do it.
