Gulfport Woman Charged With Child Abuse
The woman allegedly slapped the child, causing redness and swelling on his cheek.
A Gulfport woman is accused of striking a child and causing redness and swelling on the right side of his cheek.
According to Gulfport Police, Angela Starr Vondenbosch, 47, of Gulfport, is not the legal guardian and is not allowed to discipline the child.
Vondenbosch was arrested on August 6 on the charge of child abuse. She is being held in the Pinellas County Jail on $10,000 bail.
