Gulfport Jail Bookings Report: July 16 - 31

The following people were arrested by Gulfport Police between July 16-31, 2013.

Thursday, July 18

Matthew Gwinn, 28, of Gulfport, was arrested by Gulfport Police on the charge of resisting an officer without violence and disorderly intoxication, both misdemeanors. Gwinn posted $250 bail for both charges.

Monday, July 22

David John Comeau, 53, of St. Petersburg, was arrested by Gulfport Police on the charge of battery - domestic, a misdemeanor and two counts of Violation of injunction/protection from domestic violence, also misdemeanors.

Tuesday, July 23

Mandy Adell Mertz, 30, of Gulfport, was arrested by Gulfport Police on two charges of FTA DWLSR. Bail is posted at $10,013 for one of the charges.

Wednesday, July 24

Maurice Ingram, 20, of Tampa, was arrested by Gulfport Police on the charge of VOP Grand Theft, a felony.

Angel Marie Mullens, 40, of Gulfport, was arrested by Gulfport Police on the charge of obtaining property in return for a worthless check, a misdemeanor. Mullens posted $800 bail.

Thursday, July 25

Jessica Ty Fletcher, 26, of Pinellas Park, was arrested by Gulfport Police on the charge of aggravated battery with deadly weapon and tampering with physical evidence, both felonies. According to arrest reports, Fletcher cut a man in the back of the head with a large steak knife after he went through her purse.

Friday, July 26

Robert Thomas Stephenson, 22, of Gulfport, was arrested by Gulfport Police on the charge of VOP Dealing in Stolen Property, a felony. Bail is set at $5,000.

Sunday, July 28

Jesse Patrick Albertson, 27, of Gulfport, was arrested by Gulfport Police on the charge of battery; aggravated (with deadly weapon) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail is set at $7,650 for both charges. According to arrest reports, Albertson broke a beer bottle on another man's head after a fight over drugs. The victim received 50 stitches from the attack, police say.

Monday, July 29

Thomas Charles Daubs, 23, of Gulfport, was arrested by Gulfport Police on the charge of disorderly intoxication - disturbance, a misdemeanor. Daubs posted $100 bail.

Matthew Gwinn, 28, of Gulfport, was arrested by Gulfport Police on the following charges: resisting arrest without violence, disorderly intoxication and disorderly conduct. (The booking image was pending as of 12 p.m. Friday, August 9.)

Laura Marie Ruffner, 45, of Gulfport, was arrested by Gulfport Police on the charge of battery/domestic, a misdemeanor.

Tuesday, July 30

Thomas Charles Daubs, 23, of Gulfport, was arrested by Gulfport Police on the charge of disorderly intoxication, a misdemeanor. Daubs posted $100 bail.

Brian S. Hyz, 38, of Gulfport, was arrested by Gulfport Police on the following charges: Violation Injunction/Protection from Domestic Violence, Violation Injunction/Protection from Domestic Violence, Trespass Property Other than Struc/Convey, Battery- Strike or Touch, Tresspass-struc/convey after warning and a charge out of Brevard County. Bail is set at $6,200 for five of the six charges.

Anthony T. Okuma, 40, of St. Petersburg, was arrested by Gulfport Police on the charge of FTA DWLSR, a misdemeanor. Bail is set at $5,513.

Wednesday, July 31

Henry Marchal Cummings, 44, of St. Petersburg, was arrested by Gulfport Police on the charges of robbery (strong arm) and petit theft (two prior conv), both felonies. Bail is set at $9,500 for both charges.

Mellisa Suzanne Jones, 40, of Gulfport, was arrested by Gulfport Police on the charges of possession of controlled substance, a felony and DWLSR, a misdemeanor. Jones posted $3,000 bail for both charges.
