Banana Omelette Anyone?

This is the first breakfast I ever cooked for my wife Dawn.
When I mentioned banana omelette to her her first response was "?? are you kidding me?" I told her "trust me, you'll love it."
Today it"s Dawn's favorite omelette.

An omelette for two. Hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Ingredients:

One nice ripe banana sliced into circles
2 cloves finely chopped fresh garlic
3 oz. diced ham
1/2 cup freshly shredded sharp cheddar cheese
4 eggs                      add water and wisk until blended .
1 tblsp. water
3 tblsp. olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation.

Whisk the eggs and water in a bowl until thoroughly blended.
Preheat your Oven ( on broil 450 degrees).
Pour olive oil in a large skillet (or saute pan) on medium to medium high heat, once oil is hot put chopped garlic and diced ham in the pan and lightly brown. Add the eggs and be sure to move the eggs around in the pan once or twice to get them even.
Once the eggs are cooked about 2/3 the way through put the sliced bananas around the top of the omelette. Add the diced cheese evenly and
place the Omelette in the oven on the middle rack and cook until the cheese starts to brown. This omelette will rise beautifully and be delicious. Enjoy, have fun and let's Food Talk again next Sunday.
