The Gulfport Historical Society is looking for essay submissions from kids in grades 1-12 to be read at the society's birthday bash on October 12th. This years essay prompt is "What Gulfport Means to Me." Please submit essays to Cailey Klasson, Youth Librarian, either in person or via cklasson@mygulfport.us by September 25th. 1000 words max and the winner gets a cash prize.
