"Poe's House of Horrors - 10
Aspects of Death" runs through Nov 2 from 7pm to
10pm nightly (closed Monday) at the City of Imagination - Gulfport Arts
Center, 2726 54th Street South. Set your imagination loose, if you dare,
as visitors are treated to 10 dioramic art exhibits produced by scenic
artist Dean Wick. Focusing on
how Poe uses the mystery of death, specifically our curiosities, questions and apprehensions of
it, to evoke the sensation of horror in his short stories. Please be advised that some of the displays are therefore, due to the nature of the material and Poe's poignancy of description, not for the faint of heart. $10 entry. For further information call 727-259-8734.
