First: Learn what natural materials you can collect you can collect in your neighborhood. Twine fibers into cordage you can use to bind your Spirit Doll together.
Next: Make a Spirit Doll using the fiber cordage you made. then embellish your doll with found materials or from our collection.

About the Artist:
Elizabeth Neily has lived in Gulfport, FL since 1988 and has worked with museums throughout Florida as a living hisotry presenter. She recreates period clothing and crafts and tells stories of women who used them. She has been awarded several state and local grants to develop and share her work. As a museum consultant, she has installed exhibits, developed outreach programs and offered educational programs at museums, parks, schools and other special events.
