“Heroes Weekend”

The City of Gulfport, Stetson University College of Law, and the American Legion Post 125 proudly present Heroes Weekend in Gulfport on Sunday November 10th. This is a great way for the community to participate in Veteran’s Day while giving back to local Veteran’s.

All are welcome to join the City of Gulfport Veteran’s Day Parade on Sunday, November 10th starting at Noon on Beach Blvd.  If you are interested in participating, please stop by City Hall at 2401 53rd St. S. to pick up an application or download a registration form on the City’s website at  www.mygulfport.us/heroesweekend.

Immediately following the Veteran’s Parade, at 1 p.m., on Sunday, November 10th, the 2nd Annual Beach Volleyball benefit between VETSports and the Gulfport Police / Fire Team will kick off on the volleyball courts at Gulfport Beach, 5500 Shore Blvd. S. Brigid’s Cross will also perform live during this event starting at 1 p.m. VETSports Merchandise & the Human Gulfport Chain postcard will be available for purchase.  All proceeds will be donated to VETSports Inc., a 501 (c) 3, tax exempt, wounded warrior non-profit organization.
