Introducing Me and My Blog
An introduction to the blog I will be writing while on my vacation! I hope you enjoy!
My name is Elizabeth Anne Brown-Worthington, I am 14 years old and have been living in Gulfport for fourteen years! You may have seen me around or heard about me! I have been on the cover of the Gulfport Magazine Centennial edition, I write a monthly article for the Gulfport Gabber, and I was the youngest person to recieve the Spirit of Gulfport Award (which means I have a key to the city!). I am also a seventh generation Gulfportian and a direct descendant of the founding family!
On Saturday morning, June 9, 2012, at approximately 4 a.m., my family and I will be leaving for a road trip to Colorado. It is a three day drive. While on this trip, I will be blogging here hopefully every night about the things we did that day or the places we went through. A few years ago I did something like this under the moniker of Gulfport Lassie on the Gulfport Watchdog! I hope you enjoy my blog which will be entitled "Vacation in our Nation." Talk to you soon! :)
