Where to Watch New Year's Eve Fireworks

Who wants to ring in 2013 with a bang? Here's what you need to know about firework shows on New Year's Eve!

While there's plenty to do in Gulfport on New Year's Eve, if you're hoping to catch a glimpse of reds, blues, purples and more sparkling above the bay head to downtown St. Pete.

First Night St. Petersburg and Creative Pyrotechnics will light up the sky from the Vinoy Basin in downtown St. Pete. They're putting on two shows – a traditional First Firework display at 9 p.m. and a final hurrah when the clock strikes 12.

Ring in the New Year at Vinoy Park or along the waterfront in St. Pete to see the shows.

Learn more about all of First Night St. Petersburg's events, including live shows, children's activities and even a resolution bonfire.

The Annual New Year's Eve celebration of the arts kicks off at 5:00 p.m. and goes until 2013, (well, midnight) at multiple venues in downtown St. Petersburg. Just purchase a button for $10 to visit ALL of the venues where First Night Performers and/or activities are scheduled.
