Dense Fog Advisory for Pinellas County
Sea fog is shifting toward the coast and causing low visibility, for drivers and boaters across all of West Central and Southwest Florida. What does it look like where you are?
The National Weather Service of Tampa Bay is advising drivers to slow down this morning as dense fog continues to moves toward the coast. Visibility will be down to a quarter mile or less.
Officials are asking drivers to use low beam headlights and keep a safe distance between vehicles. There may be hazardous conditions, especially over the Sunshine Skyway Bridge.
Boaters will also experience zero visability across Tampa Bay and Inland Waters and are advised to blow horns frequently to signal other boats.

The dense fog advisory for Pinellas County remains in effect until 11 a.m. Thursday morning.
