Town Hall Tonight: Council member Jennifer Salmon is hosting a town hall meeting tonight from 6:30 - 8 p.m. at the Gulfport Recreation Center Multi-Purpose Room, 5730 Shore Blvd. Everyone is invited! Salmon will be talking about children's programs, organizations, playgrounds and events. Family Movie Day: Mark your calendars for free family movies at the Gulfport Public Library this Saturday, April 14. Movies start at 10:30 a.m. with Puss in Boots and then Hugo. Popcorn will be provided by the library! Have fun. Please call (727) 893-1074 for more information.

CERT Training: There are still a handful of spots left for Gulfport CERT Training on Saturday, April 14th and Saturday, April 21st. Training this Saturday is from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. at the Gulfport Senior Center. For more information or to register call Bob Worthington at (727) 916-8014.

Patch Food Drive: Gulfport Patch, along with 18 other Patch Florida sites, is working to collect nonperishable food items. Feeding America Tampa Bay will distribute the food through its partner agencies. We've made it easy for you to help. Just drop off your canned food items at these neighborhood shops or the Gulfport Area Chamber of Commerce.
