5 Things to Know Today: One Man Show, Hula Dancing, Home Tour

One Man (benefit) Show, Hula Dancing Lessons, Pink Flamingo Home Tour tickets and more in "5 Things to Know Today."

One Man Show Today: Jay Wygant plans to entertain crowds with a benefit concert at the Gulfport Senior Center at 1:30 p.m. Admission is $2. This concert featuring "the music of yesteryear" benefits the senior center's food-pantry program for low-income senior residents of Gulfport.

Hula Dancing: Aloha! The Gulfport Recreation Center presents the chance to learn the Hawaiian hula for just $10 a lesson. From Feb. 22 through March 28, learn "That's the Hawaiian in Me." From April 18 through May 16, learn "Blue Hawaii."

Pink Flamingo Home Tour: Pre-sale tickets to the 8th Annual Pink Flamingo Home Tour are no longer on sale, but you can still plan on coming out on Saturday March 10. Seniors (62+) will receive the discounted price of $13 through the day of the event otherwise, "day of" tickets will be $15. The tour route begins at Stetson University where ticket holders will also be able to park. A bus and trolley service will be provided and is recommended. Restaurants in the area will be open for business, so remember to support your local hospitality venues.
