World Book Night in Gulfport: The Circle of Friends of the Gulfport Library has been selected as a host site for the United States inaugural celebration of World Book Night. This free event includes a presentation by Rhoda Katz, docent from the Florida Holocaust Museum and a raffle for free copies of Markus Zusak’s bestselling book, “The Book Thief”. Patch Food Drive: Help Florida Patch collect a ton of food for Feeding America Tampa Bay! Feeding America Tampa Bay is a regional food bank that supplies more than 700 agencies throughout West Central Florida with the food their clients need to survive.
