Candidate Forum: The Gulfport Democratic Club and St. Petersburg Republican Club are hosting a candidate forum on Thursday, Sept. 20 at 7 p.m. at the Gulfport Casino Ballroom. All are invited; doors open at 6 p.m. Candidates for the following races are slated to attend: US House Dist 13, Sheriff, Supervisor of Elections, County Commission, FL State House Dist 69, School Board.

Chili Cookoff: Hurry! There's still time to enter your homemade chili or salsa in the Industrial Art Center's "Industrial Strength Chili Cookoff" on Saturday, Sept. 22 from 6 - 10 p.m. in the Art Village Courtyard.
