5 Things to Know in Gulfport: Council Workshop, Tai Chi, CERT

There is a City Council Workshop, CERT Meeting and Coffee Talk Book Discussion today in Gulfport.

City Council Workshop: Gulfport City leaders will discuss several topics including temporary political signs, recreational vehicle storage and the pier beach pavilion during today's workshop at 3:30 p.m. The workshops are open to the public and are held at Gulfport City Hall. Coffee Talk: Everyone is invited to th Gulfport Public Library today from 10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. to discuss "Slaughterhouse Five" by Kurt Vonnegut. Stop by for a cup of coffee or light refreshments. You can pick up your copy of the book at the Circulation Desk. For more information call the library at 893-1074.

Gulfport CERT: There will be a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Meeting tonight at 6:30 p.m. at the Gulfport Senior Center. For more information about CERT call Bob Worthington at (727) 916-8014.

Tai Chi: Everyone is welcome to the twice weeklyat Scout Hall on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 - 10:15 a.m. The lessons are free, donations are welcome.
