5 Things to Know in Gulfport: Fresh Market, Clothing Swap, Boot Camp

Summer Hours: It's summer and that means the Gulfport Fresh Market will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Be sure to "like" the Tuesday Fresh Market on Facebook!

Swap It!: That's right, the Free Clothing Swap is always the second Tuesday of every month, and that's today. So, stop by the courtyard at the Peninsula Inn between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Bring up to 5 garments to exchange for vouchers to use to "buy" select clothing brought in by other participants. All cash proceeds, donated clothing, and non-selected garments at the end of the swap will be donated to Community Action Stops Abuse (CASA). CASA is a local non-profit organization providing services to survivors of abuse or violence.  For more information on the clothing swap, contact Daniel Hodge at (727) 366-4086 or email dan@igc.org.  In case of rain, the next clothing swap is scheduled for Tuesday, July 10th.

Braveheart Boot Camp: Come out for a full body workout and torch that fat! Scotsman Fitness presents a Braveheart Boot Camp class at the Gulfport Recreation Center on Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. and Zumba at 7:45 p.m. also at the Rec Center.
