Thousands came together in Gulfport for good music, food and a good cause, and Tuesday night, Mayor Sam Henderson recognized the business organization responsible for it all.
The 49th St. South Business Association raised $10,000 at the annual Tangerine Blues Festival this past September in Gulfport and donated it to All Children's in downtown St. Pete. The organization gave them the check during the All Children's Telethon on Sunday, June 2. During the telethon, eight So49 members manned phones and helped gather donations.
