Industrial Arts Center Tops Best Customer Service Contest

The art cooperative wins Patch's Best Customer Service contest.

The Industrial Arts Center puts artists and the public first. This Gulfport arts cooperative wins , which asked people to vote on the business that knows best how to treat people right.

The nonprofit was a clear favorite with readers, who chose IAC out of a field of 64 small business contestants. Second place goes to Fazio's Pizza.

"Customer Service is outstanding," said about the IAC. "Jackie Ballard, Lynn DiVenuti, Amy Oatley, along with many volunteers, are the most engaging people, helping to make people feel at ease to try something new. Don't take my word - go and meet the crew."

Said another Patch reader, identified as : "The folks at the Industrial Arts Center open their door and hearts to our community. When you walk by the center, you are drawn to the smiles, conversations, and the wonderfully creative adventures unfolding in the center. I always look forward to the new ideas the center comes up with to get folks of all ages and abilities to explore and join in. The Industrial Arts Center is a unique and welcoming happening in our community."

Industrial Arts Center will get a Readers' Choice plaque and some more attention from Patch!
