Holiday Hoopla is Coming to Town

The third annual Holiday Hoopla will feature shops, arts, crafts, music, caroling and . . . Santa! Beach Boulevard will be packed with exhibits, vendors, entertainment and holiday cheer.

"Get Your Holiday Cheer in Gear!" at the Gulfport Merchants Association's third annual Holiday Hoopla in downtown Gulfport on Saturday, Dec. 10, from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Stick around for the annual Boca Ciega Yacht Club Lightend Christmas Boat Parade starting at 6 p.m. at the Gulfport Municipal Marina.

Come and enjoy a half-mile of shopping, food, fun and holiday splendor.

Shop on Beach Boulevard

There will be 200 exhibitors and shops. The festival will provide shoppers with one-of-a-kind gifts that cannot be found anywhere else, and all of your holiday shopping can be done in one place.

Shopping Tourists to Visit St. Pete, Gulfport

Yelp and LocalShops1.com have partnered to offer a free bus trip to shoppers across the Howard Frankland Bridge. Shoppers will get an insider's guide to the best in indy stores in St. Pete and Gulfport. The Local Shopping Bus leaves Hyde Park Village at 12:30 p.m.

Entertainment

Local school bands & Choral groups and local musicians to area performing arts groups. Oh, yeah, and the big guy in the red suit and Mrs. Claus will be there, too, from 1 - 6 p.m., and will be available for photos with children adults and pets! 

Help Raise Money

A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit Operation Santa, The Gulfport Senior Center Foundation and Gulfport’s Get Rescued.

Boat Light Parade

The Boca Ciega Yacht Club is holding its 26th Annual Lighted Christmas Boat Parade on Saturday. Members spend many hours planning and then decorating their boats to share the holiday spirit with the surrounding communities. This year the parade will begin by entering the Gulfport Municipal Marina at 6 p.m. It will then travel past the Casino and William's Pier in Gulfport and into the canals of Town Shores Condominiums.
