Gulfport – and Peg's Craft Beer – Celebrated in Media Coverage

Gulfport is an "art and food center," where residents are "passionate people doing what they love."

And Peg's Cantina serves up "seriously tasty" brewed-on premises beer.

These are some of the observations by columnist Doug Fairall in an article titled Beer Travels: Cycle Brewing of Gulfport, Home of Florida Weisse just published in the New Times of Broward/Palm Beach County.

Fairall clearly was smitted by the food and drink at Peg's Cantina, as well as the laid-back vibe of Gulfport. He gives Gulfport a big pat on the back for supporting Peg's Cantina, its food and unusual selection of beer.

Fairall also provides some detailed descriptions of the brew on tap:

"Cream & Sugar Please - A little roasty, but quite the cold creamy coffee flavor...

"Fixie Session IPA - A slightly grain forward beer with plenty of citrus and grapefruit...

"Bottom of the 9th Brown - Caramel, with a tinge of nuts and chocolate.

"Lychee Florida Weisse - Amazing ... with a heavy fruit aroma and a sharp tangy flavor."
