VIDEO: The Love Notes Entertain, Interact and Inspire
Volunteers with The Love Notes exude energy and happiness with song and dance. Meet the performers who've been entertaining seniors in Pinellas County for more than a decade.
Twelve years ago Joe Dunavent brought together a group of vibrant performers to create music and entertainment for seniors across Pinellas County. On Monday, The Love Notes dazzled audience members at the Gulfport Senior Center.
Dressed in feather boas, funny hats and other costumes, the volunteer performing group sang upbeat tunes from the 20's, 30's and 40's.
"You can't describe it," Judy Lee said.

Lee has been performing with The Love Notes for nine years and says they're group is known for interacting with the audience, creating a fun, inviting atmosphere among friends.
The group of 10, including Founder Joe Dunavent on the keyboard, performs a 2-hour show for seniors at nursing homes, assisted and independent living facilities and senior centers from Gulfport to Clearwater.
