Sunday Sunset: Bird Watching

We want to see your photos! We know we live in paradise and part of that is enjoying a beautiful sunset everyday. We want you to send in your sunset photos from around the area and every Sunday, we'll share it on Gulfport Patch.

Welcome to your Sunday Sunset, a weekly photo feature that reminds us to take a moment and appreciate what it means to live in Gulfport.

Patch reader and local business owner Tony Althaus sent in five amazing photos taken at the Gulfport Municipal Marina. The featured photo with the birds sitting on the house is my personal favorite. The editing makes the photo look like a painting.

"You should check that house out sometime. It is amazing how many birds fill the tree next to it as well as cover the house," Tony Althaus wrote to Patch.

We asked Tony which photo of this bunch is his favorite and he picked the scenic view looking out into the bay. It's the second photo in this gallery and it shows shades of pink, purple and yellow in the distance.

"I blew this one up a bit and had it printed on a metallic paper that shimmers like a pearl essence painted car," Althaus replied.

Thanks so much for sharing Tony!
