Meet Mink, Winner of Our Lovable Dog Photo Contest

Mink is the youngest of five dogs at the Fitch household in Gulfport. Deirdre Fitch, Mink's owner, describes her as a calm, loving and playful dog.

Fitch entered Mink in our first "Lovable Dog Photo Contest" on Gulfport Patch in December and after receiving 20 votes, Mink was declared the winner and received a goodie bag with a $25 gift card to Petco.

Fitch is an active animal lover who's been teaching dog obedience and manners for more than 25 years. When Fitch is not spending time with her family and furry friends, she is teaching classes every Tuesday at the Dog Training Club of St. Pete at 4400B 34th St. N in St. Petersburg. Fitch is also a member of the Tampa Bay Area Sheepdog Club.

Fitch says Mink loves to sunbath in their backyard and run around the pool any chance she gets.

The photo that won our contest shows Mink with Fitch's then 7-year-old granddaughter Trinity in her backyard.
