Donate Blood at the Gulfport Fresh Market

Florida Blood Services will conduct a blood drive during the Gulfport Tuesday Fresh Market on Tuesday, July 31st from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The blood donation vehicle will be parked at the corner of Beach Blvd. and 31st Ave. S. near La Cote Basque Restaurant.

Blood and platelet donors will receive a free wellness check-up and cholesterol screening, as well as an “Operation Blood Donation Hero” t-shirt, and a coupon for $5 off at Outback Steakhouses.

If you donate blood or platelets twice during the summer, before August 31st, you'll receive a coupon good for a free steak dinner at Outback Steakhouses and will be entered into a drawing to win “Outback for a Year” and a suite package from the Tampa Bay Rays. 

Blood drive organizers hope to revisit the Gulfport Fresh Market again on Tuesday, August 28th.

The Gulfport Tuesday Fresh Market is a year-round open-air market featuring fruits, vegetables and a wide variety of other foods; hand-made art and crafts; bath, body and wellness products; live music and more. Over 50 vendors and exhibitors participate each Tuesday.
