Fresh Market Vendor Stars in Supernatural Sex Comedy

Yet another star with a long, long list of professional credits has been discovered at the Gulfport Tuesday Fresh Market. 

Gulfport Tuesday Fresh Market vendor Brick Brickel of Brick Brickel’s Wearable Art currently stars in the supernatural sex comedy, Misconception, at the Venue Theatre in Pinellas Park now through August 18th. 

Written expressly for Brickel, local playwright Joseph Alan Johnson fashioned the play to showcase Brickel’s extensive professional background. Brickel has performed in numerous live performances and productions, including hundreds of comedies, dramas and musicals in New York City, Los Angles, Virginia Beach, Norfolk and the District of Columbia.

In addition to being a multi-talented stage performer, Brickel is also a very accomplished artist.  Her glass fusion jewelry, which she refers to as “wearable art”, is available every Tuesday at the Gulfport Tuesday Fresh Market.  “We so enjoy having Brick Brickel at the Market,” states Laura Garrison, Coordinator for the Gulfport Tuesday Fresh Market.  “And her wearable art is just beautiful.  If you haven’t had the privilege of meeting her in person yet, or haven’t seen her glass work, please come to the Market and do so.  Brick is quick-witted, hilarious, and truly loves what she does as an artist on stage and with the creation of her jewelry.”
